5 Rules to Weighing Yourself — and When to Ditch the ScaleHow to measure your weight loss without a weighing scale Friday, 13 Mar 2020 Related news Most of us use the weighing scale to measure our weight loss, but it's not really the best way to do it. — Human TNS are obsessed with their weight. We're always looking for ways to lose him. Ironically, they are the ones who are thin and healthy who ask me for weight loss advice. Does the fall of one or two kilograms really make a difference in your overall health, or is it purely for aesthetic purposes? The overweights aren't very upset. Not until they are diagnosed with non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, hypertension, or high cholesterol, that is. Then they get into action. In these days, even animals get on a diet because as their owners, they lack exercise and have joined the growing club of circumferences of the world. They eat our food remains and enjoy a life with air conditioning. A pet-loving friend puts her scribble in a special seat for dogs and takes her to stroll through the city. In the park, their legs are covered with boots to protect them and keep them clean. This pooch is so spoiled that when the owner is at work, he listens to recorded music, interspersed with the owner's voice (to eliminate the feeling of loneliness). After dinner, his teeth are flogged. Its only daily exercise is to walk from the sofa to the bathroom a few times a day to take a piss break. By the way, your mimos are placed next to the toilet bowl! It's no wonder the furious guy's fat, but charming though. Last time I heard, the vet has ordered her to exercise more so the friend is taking her four-legged companion on night walks. To lose weight, you have to eat, poop and sleep well. Exercise is added in the equation. However, the scale is not always the best way to measure its progress. A smaller number can increase your mood, but changing your body goes beyond this number. And often weighing can be discouraging as your water weight will always fluctuate. But how can we measure weight loss without being on the cold scale? Well, here are some ways to indicate whether you've gained or lost weight without using the weighing scale. The easiest way to say if you've lost weight is to look at how your clothes fit. Are they loose, are they overflowing in the seams or is the zipper in the pants unable to close? If your clothes have become looser, then you definitely spilled some weight. If you can't hit the shirt anymore, then clearly, your belly has expanded. But if you need a belt to keep your pants in place, that's progress. However, when your muscle mass increases, your clothing may sometimes feel swollen, but the smoother and fleshy parts of your body will feel hardened while muscles replace fat. Feeling more comfortable in your clothes or lowering a size is more important than stepping on the scale, as they are more accurate indications of fat loss. There are those who prefer to wear baggy suits to camouflage what's underneath. I'm sorry, but this isn't gonna help much on your weight loss journey. I'm not a selfie fan, but most people are. Take a biweekly or weekly image of yourself at various different angles to track your progress. Use the same suit and stay in the same place every time. Don't get discouraged if there are no drastic changes in the photographs. If you're doing everything right, the results will come in time. After all, weight loss is a gradual process that does not happen during the night. And don't believe people who tell you it's possible to lose 5 kg in a week. The faster you lose, the faster you get it back. When you are spending extra energy working and feeding on better foods, you are more likely to have a good night dream. Parents often tire their children during the day to sleep better at night. The same rule applies to all, regardless of their age. When your dream falls, your weight goes up. Sleep deprivation causes changes in hormones that regulate hunger and appetite. Inadequate sleep increases the hunger hormone called ghrelin and decreases the levels of the satiety/fullness hormone called leptin, which can lead to overalimentation. The less you sleep, the more you eat, while you stay awake for longer hours. When you don't sleep, your brain can't make rational decisions, and you're also more likely to be impulsive and give up to junk food wishes. The better you sleep, the less weight gain possibilities. There are many devices that are usable on the market to track your sleep patterns, so try them. The measurement of your body parts can give you an approximate estimate of where you lost weight and how many centimeters have come out. Remove your outdated measuring tape and measure the parts of your body you want to see change. It doesn't tell you if you've lost fat or muscle (needs a team to measure body composition for this), but it's still a good starting point. We all lose weight at different rates and some areas show results faster than others. So take out your antiquated tape and measure the areas you want to see change, such as waist, arms, thighs, buttocks and chest. Do this every two weeks and notice the difference. Believe it or not, a student told me that she had lost weight on her ankles because all her leggings were now loose around her ankles - and it wasn't because she put them in the washing machine! I've heard of people who can get into their wedding bands again after they trimmer, but the weight loss of the ankle is new to me! With weight loss, you can better address everyday tasks. Small efforts such as getting in and out of the car, getting a flight of steps or taking the grocery to your apartment block become easier. Panting and applause become things of the past. All these activities are considered important because they are concerned with real life. Yeah, you like to live once more and feel empowered when your energy levels are high. When you have increased energy levels throughout the day, it means your blood sugar levels are balanced. Your regular fitness diet or routine may have contributed to this, but the scale will not reflect this. Many studies show that exercise increases memory power. As you spilled the weight, mental tasks become easier as you will be able to think more clearly – your focus, concentration, planning and coordination reach all improvement. The nanosayers can say that certain herbs can also increase memory power. They could, but they don't bring other benefits. In the end, tune your body. Listen to it, take it carefully and reveal a lot of information, as well as serve you well. Measure how you feel instead of focusing on numbers on the scale. You may have started your fitness trip for aesthetic reasons, but while continuing on your way to better health, you can start discovering a new you. And that new one won't make you a slave to the scale.
